TURNKEY BUILDING PACKAGES

From dirt work
to finished structure.

Sitework, concrete, erection, electrical, insulation and finishing can be coordinated where agreed for the project. The written proposal defines inclusions and exclusions.

MAKE THE IMPORTANT CHOICES EARLY

Design decisions that matter.

01

Scope boundaries

List what must be ready at handover: structure, slab, utility work, insulation and finishes. Name exclusions as clearly as inclusions.

02

Trade coordination

Identify who supplies each design, connection and installation. Interfaces between trades need one agreed sequence.

03

Proposal comparison

Compare allowances, owner-supplied items and exclusions alongside the total. Similar building sizes can represent very different work.

PROJECT QUESTIONS

Before you request a quote.

What does turnkey mean for my project?+

It means coordinating the agreed construction package. It does not establish a universal list of included trades or finishes; the written scope defines your particular project.

Can sitework and concrete be part of the package?+

Yes, depending on the project. Site conditions, building design and the required approaches or paving must be reviewed when defining those scopes.

How should I compare turnkey proposals?+

Compare the finished result, drawings, included trades, exclusions, allowances and responsibilities. Ask for clarification where a price depends on information that has not been finalized.

Can I supply part of the work myself?+

Discuss that before the proposal is finalized. Owner-supplied work affects coordination, sequencing and the boundaries of each contractor's responsibility.
